The next lecture
The next lecture entitled ‘Are we nearly there yet?’ will be delivered by Bruce Keith in Gullane Village Hall on Wednesday 28th February at 7.30 pm. Ancient milestones and way markers can still be found and Bruce Keith will guide us through their history.
A packed Kirk Hall in Dirleton heard details and stories of the defences of East Lothian in World War II. A talk by David Haire, a video and displays of photographs created great interest.
The last lecture on 12th September in Dirleton Kirk Hall was given to a capacity and appreciative audience by Alex Crawford.
THE COASTAL COMMUNITIES MUSEUM IN NORTH BERWICK is open until the end of October.
Some of the displays have been refreshed and new ones added. The Museum will be open Wednesday to Saturday and for Bank holidays throughout the summer.
